Since SBANT cannot host an in-person Education Day this year due to Covid, we are inviting you to attend SBA’s Virtual Education Day on March 13, 2021 beginning at 12:00pm. SBANT will be providing scholarships for our adults to attend if you cannot afford to do so. Please contact Robin Lee for scholarship information.

The Spina Bifida Association invites you to the 2021 Education Day for Adults with Spina Bifida
Lifelong Transition: Health Care and Preparation
This event will be presented by specialists in adult Spina Bifida care at the University of Pittsburgh Adult Spina Bifida Clinic, the Penn State Health Spina Bifida Clinic, members of Living with Spina Bifida in Central Pennsylvania, and the Spina Bifida Association.
This live, virtual educational event is designed to address topics of importance to adults with Spina Bifida. Presentations have time for Q&A with the speakers and panelists. Topics will include:
- Men’s sexual health
- Women’s health
- Independent living
- Managing challenges with insurance and making the most of your coverage
- Mental health in the context of health challenges
- Financial planning for your future
The day will be split into topics that are relevant to adults ages 18-39, and topics that are relevant to ages 40 and above.
Please select your ticket according to the age group you would like to learn more about.

Virtual Spring Hispanic Family Camp March 19-21, 2021
Join us for our Virtual SBANT Camp John Marc Hispanic Family Camp!
Due to Covid, instead of being out at Camp John Marc for camp, camp will be virtual!
We will have virtual activities that you and your family can participate in via a link on the Camp John Marc website. If you register before March 5th, we will mail you a box with all of your supplies for a fun weekend.   We will also send out the link the week of camp. The link will be active beginning Friday morning March 19th. Prepare to enjoy the activities as your time allows! Stay tuned for the day and time of our live activity via video out to Camp John Marc with Kyle! More details posted soon.
Activities will include:
Arts and Crafts, Sing-A-Longs, S’mores making, Games, Stories, Puzzles and Mindfulness
We will provide you with the needed craft and activities supplies as long as you register by March 5th.
