Leah Gaither
Leah Alice Gaither precious daughter of Madeline and Eugene Gaither
was born August 11, 1973 in Dallas, Texas passed away peacefully on
July 1, 2008. She was a loving daughter, sister, cousin and aunt and
will be missed by many friends and family. Leah was a resident of Red
Oak, Texas and was recently awarded honorary membership into the Red
Oak Lions Club in recognition of her long standing relationship and
support of Lionism. This honor was bestowed upon her by Pete Anderson,
the current Lions Club President.
Leah loved to spend time playing games on her computer, chatting with
the love of her life, fiancé Don Gattin and listening to music,
especially Rick Springfield. She received the shock of her life when
she got a big hug from Mr. Springfield at a recent concert. Leah was
also an avid reader enjoying many different types of books.
She is preceded in death by her father, Eugene Gaither. She leaves
behind her mother Madeline Gaither of Red Oak; fiancé Don Gattin of
Benton, Arkansas; brothers Carl Eugene "Sonny" Gaither, Jr. of
DeSoto,
Phillip Gaither of Red Oak and Darrell Gaither of Arlington.
Funeral services will be held at 10AM Saturday, July 5, 2008 in the
chapel of the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home. Interment will
follow at the Red Oak Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be the Lions Club Honor Guard.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Thursday, July 3, 2008
at the Funeral Home.
