Partnership Program
SBANT is now partnering with companies that wish to support our mission and build relationships with our constituents. Their financial support allows us to provide programs and services to you. In turn, they will be present at our events. This allows them to meet you and inform you of their products and services. It’s much easier to learn about a product in person and be able to see it, touch it and ask questions, try out a new product, etc. We believe that this approach will be a win-win for both SBANT and our partners!
Our first two corporate partners are Lift-Aids, Inc. and C&R Medical. If you have attended and RISE Adventures events, you have probably met representatives from these companies. Both are truly passionate about what they do – providing much needed supplies, equipment and support for the disability community. They have both been supporters and sponsors of SBANT events for several years and are very excited to build the relationship with the Spina Bifida community! Our business includes ostomy care, urology and continence care, and wound and skin care. We operate globally and employ more than 7,000 people.
The Coloplast story is one of passion and commitment
It all started back in 1954. Nurse Elise Sørensen was concerned by the dramatic change in her sister’s lifestyle following an ostomy operation. Thora no longer dared to go out, fearing that her stoma would leak in public. Elise was determined to help her sister out of her isolation.
She came up with the idea of an ostomy bag with an adhesive ring, which would make it fit tightly to the skin. This would prevent leakage and give her sister, and thousands of people like her , the chance to return to their normal life. A simple solution with great significance.
Today, our business includes Continence Care, Ostomy Care, Wound and Skin Care, and Surgical Urology. In all these areas, we are guided by Elise’s passion and commitment. Like her, we work closely with people who have intimate healthcare needs. We listen to their needs and respond with products and services that make their lives easier.
